Cookie Policy

This page describes the cookies and similar technologies you may encounter on Caliber Peptide Index. We keep tracking to a minimum: non-essential cookies are off until you opt in.

Your choices

Analytics cookies are denied by default and are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner (we use Google Consent Mode to enforce this). You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer, by clearing this site’s data in your browser, or by enabling Global Privacy Control, which we honor. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off because the site relies on them to load securely.

Strictly necessary cookies (Cloudflare)

The site is delivered through Cloudflare’s CDN, which may set technical cookies to protect against bots and abuse. These are set regardless of consent because they are essential to security and delivery:

  • __cf_bm — Cloudflare bot mitigation; expires within ~30 minutes.
  • cf_clearance — set if you complete a security challenge.

See the Cloudflare Cookies reference for current details.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 — only after consent)

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies to measure aggregate, non-advertising usage statistics. None of these are set unless and until you consent:

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors; expires after ~2 years.
  • _ga_<id> — maintains session state for GA4; expires after ~2 years.
  • _gid — distinguishes visitors; expires after ~24 hours (when present).

These do not track you across unrelated websites. For more, see the Google Privacy Policy or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Advertising cookies

None. The site currently serves no advertising and sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page before any ad service is enabled.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you block or clear cookies entirely. Doing so will not impair the core functionality of this site, though you may see repeated Cloudflare security checks. Browser-level Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected where supported.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the site’s services change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
